Hi all! I have done 3 spring pig hunts at Tejon....never durring the fall months of Sept-Nov. Would I expect a difference in success and or meat quality in the fall? My two daughters just passed their Hunter Safety, and now my older girl (12) wants her and I to go on a pig hunt. I would love to take advantage of Tejon's youth rates!

Hey Steve. The hogs will be on acorns and other grub instead of the wild oats so you may find the meat a little different. I would think a good smoker and BBQ sauce would take care of that. I never hunted hogs in the fall there but have spent time there in the fall and the hogs were just as plentiful it seemed.
