Hunts are Dec.6-8, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, Mar 7-9, April 25-27, & June6-8...So when are we going. I'd like to put it on my schedule early since I usually work weekends.....Hronk

I'm looking at the March/April time frame. June might be fun as well. I'll still be recovering financially from the holidays and duck season at the end of January, and I'm on a slow boat to Ensenada during the December hunt. Gotta get with my brother and see when he wants to fly out and do it again, to.

I'm also remembering some of those roads up there, and I just don't think I want to get up on some of that stuff in the rain... winch or no winch, that looks like trouble waiting to happen.

But who knows? If things go well, I might be able to make two of them this time around.

I'd like to do the Jan31/Feb2 one. Holidays would be over, but the Mar/April one would be good also. Would really like to get 2 in this year.

Ha ha! No kidding! I remember that thread. I'd love to do some hog hunting in Italy. Have relatives there, but I know they wouldn't know where to start hunting since they don't hunt.

It would be nice though!

Hey Y'all:

Looks like you're all getting the hog fever. Don't think I'll make the Dec POR, as that's the second-half opener of San Diego archery. And, I gotta get a buck this year! In January, I'm doing that Arizona javelina/deer archery combo.

So, to spread it out a little bit, I'm thinking March and June. If I recall, one of you guys had a great June hunt. Who was that? I had great Feb and May hunts, but it rained on Friday in Feb, and it was Sunday before we could negotiate the muddy roads. The roads get B-A-D, bad. (Even with 4x4 AND snow chains!)

Hope we can all settle on one common month, and make a good JHP showing. Sure is fun hanging around the fire listening to Speckmisser read from his book of huntin' poems.

Looks like March one is only date I have open. June one too after turkey seasons close.

I hope to make the hunt in June. I want to bring my son along so I'll need to wait until school is out. I sent for the apps and they should be here tomorrow. Do they have a minimum age? My son will be 14 in June. I am starting to gear up for my December deer hunt and the January deer / javelina hunt.

One Track, how did the backpacking trip go. I see you didn't get et up by a bar!

Sent the dates to my brother. My decision will be based on whichever date he can get away, but we're almost definite for March or April.

Scott, are you locked in on the April hunt?

I'll see if I can refine my book of hunting poems beforehand, OneTrack.
