Hello,
I was wondering how many other Tejon South Side (Cross and Crescent) members are on this forum? I am a member and wanted to find more guys to go up with when my regular hunting buddies can't join me.
Thanks,
BT
I've been there before and it's a great place to hunt... If u don't mind taking a non-member along, I be down for it... But no pressure, I got my places to hunt... I know there's a couple of guys on here that are members... Good luck
Not a member but good friends of mine are and they invite me along a few times a year. I know the area pretty well. I believe we are going the few days before Easter.
I have been hunting the south side for about 12 years before the closure for cats... So I have a pretty good understanding of the ranch. I was hoping to get a few of the other guys with memberships to pipe up on this thread so I could possibly meet up instead of hunting by myself.
There may not be as many members here as there one time was. Things are changing on the ranch and will keep changing for a while. Watch the news also. There has been reports about a lawsuit from employees. Sad to say that Jodi is one of them and no longer running the pig part of hunting. It sounds like things will only get better up there, after everything is done in court. Part of it is making a even playing field or hunters. Also I belive there will be more rules and or just better enforcement of rules that they already have. Good luck to you. Stay on point and as always be safe.

Been a C&C member for years now. Due to my job I may not be able to be on this year though. How are the numbers looking this year? I imagine its all nice and green out there.
The ranch is very green, but not seeing too many pigs. Every weekend we go up, I see about 2 to 10 pigs per day, but most of them are at least 1000 to 1500 yards away.
So it's been quite awhile since I've been on here for a lot of different reasons... But I bought the C&C membership as well, been up several times and I know that ranch better than most and I'll tell u what, pig numbers are wayyyyyy down... The ranch is greener than I have ever seen it and the tracks are very easy to see. All the major pig trails are over grown and covered up, all my nice lil honey holes have been very slow, I agree with btrebil only seeing a few here and there and I have been from Lopez flats to desert to pump plant all at prime hours....have yet to see a herd of more than 5 pigs, but I have seen a bit more piglets than last year so that is a plus... Be back at it again this week for that white boar I've been watchin!!! Yes white!!!! 3" + on each side.... Game on....
LOL!!! I'am the one who skin that pig at his house.:smiley_yahoo:and yes, it is a monster...
He mention it to me that you will be doing it again. nice kid and accurate shooter.
