Got these 2 hogs last week on a fully guided trip to Tejon. Shot the boar Monday evening at 407yds, got the sow Tuesday Morning at about 80yds running. The lodge at Tejon is top notch as well as the food they cook for you. In my opinion this is the best deal in CA.

jb229, where is the smile brother? That's some fine swine and sounds like good shooting. I miss all the years I spent hunting that ranch with family and friends!

Congrats on the double! Two VERY nice hogs in the freezer for sure. Were you hunting the North or South?

guess I forgot to smile, : ) I was shooting a 308 150grn Hornady superformance GMX. Those GMX hit really hard, the bullet was lodged in the opposite shoulder in the armor. We Hunted the South Side and there are still lots of pigs there but they are getting a lot of hunting pressure. The price was 900.00 for 2 nights, 3 days of hunting then 250 for the 2nd hog.

oh yeah, the boar was easily 300lbs, I thought it was a cow up on the hill when I spotted it, when we got to it to haul it down the hill side it looked like a prego cow. The belly was huge, took 2 of us to drag it down hill. the sow was 230-240sih.

Awesome hogs! Everyone keeps talking about the increased hunting pressure. Are they doing more guided hunts or do they have more members or are they holding depredation hunts? I hope it's not the latter.

Montana13, they are basically running guided hunts 7 days a week. The Last management hunt was in February and those will no longer be offered. The hogs are still there, they have just wised up a bit.
