Was given a set of Leitz 7x35b trinovid binoculars by a friend who won't be using them. They were his grandfathers, and he doesn't want them collecting dust and not being used. Lucky Me!

New condition with leather case. Don't look like they've ever been used.

Can anyone tell me anything about them. They look clear as a bell, bright, at least as good as my Nikon Monarch ATB's. Would be a great supplement to my Nikons when I don't want the higher power.

Any info on weather resistance, just how good these are, value, etc, would be appreciated. Nearest I can tell, they're a heck of a bino, but can't find any info on them.

Thanks. Looked on ebay earlier, but didn't find any.

That's them, but newer. Found out a little more. Made in 1983, considered a good bino, and in condition they're in, worth about $600.

I may have to reconsider carrying these things around the canyons and possibly banging them up.
