Texas Hog

[SDHNTR]

This is a small 90lb hog I took near Athens, TX a couple weeks ago. My girlfriend was right there in the blind with me and was even more excited than I was. I got a high five and hug as soon as the hog hit the dirt. Can't get that from my usual hunting buddies!

I've taken a few a little southeast of there around Wortham on some private land my friend owns. Great place to hunt. Do you hunt private land?

Thanks guys. Yes it was private land that her family owns. She did get a kick out of the whole thing. But she sure liked the evening hunts more than the morning. I took her out one morning and she got really cold and tired and we had to head in. I couldn't complain too much, I invited her. She loved the evenings because it wasn't so cold and she didn't have to get up early. I guess that's a compromise I can live with.
