well i think i am done for the year, i ended up with 32, and 5 skulls, i finally finished my european mount to.
last time i went out, i ended up with nothing in 30 minutes but 2 rattle snakes, one of which almost bit me so i thought i would call it a year.
this is what i ended up with

GREAT JOB. I TOLD YOU THAT WHITETAIL SKULL WOULD BE WORTH THE EFFORT. LOOKS GREAT.

thanks mulies, i was really happy with it. i just wish i would have done the same with that mulie. i think the next time i go back there i am gonna get that skull and reattach it to the antlers, it should be nice to boil it without the antlers attached.

I've killed lots of rattlers,my biggest was a 5 footer-13 and a button...........

Great stuff.A good year.Mind them snakes.Will you make something frome their skin?
That skin is in good condition.I can't wait,my new shedn year starts in october.

i didnt do anything with the skins, i just took off the rattles. snake hide is easy to tan though, i know how, just didnt bother with it

i am going camping in the mountains tommorow, and i hear there is elk moose and deer up in that area. i am gonna take a few long hikes and see if i can come home with some horns

Congrats on your year. Nice looking antlers. I'm working on building an antler wall, or two walls. When I'm finished I'll post a few pics. Good luck next year.
