the 10 minute boar hog!!

Loaded up Whiskey,Patches & Shaggy and rode out to the Island......When I got there the collars went on at the gate and we got to our starting spot. I let em out and started down the trail ....boom Whiskey bays then Patches barks once and catches out I never heard Shaggy bark(she was caught)
Whiskey is stilll bayin when I eased in there I saw her 10 ft from the boar that the other two had strung out then the palmettos came alive with another bigger rank boar.....I turned CD loose towards that one and he makes a dogleg and catches out on the one already hemmed up
That big un breaks at this point I called Whiskey off and I go tie the other hog.
I get some pics and we were walkin the dogs out 5 minutes after they were let out had the hog and dogs loaded in another 5 and we were gone!!!I like those quick hunts

He then got free public transportation back to a pen full of young sows to kick it with!! He will be doing his part on makin some more bacon soonig-laughing:!!

Florida, the island I was referring to is a river island on the intercoastal waterway.

in some degree yes. I mainly catch em and turn em back loose but sometimes if i have caught a good healthy sow or two I will bring home a boar to breed with em. Once they are in my possession they are considered livestock. I have a 1/2 acre raising pen and a finishing pen on my property. It is a great way to keep meat in the freezer for myself,friends and family

Awesome!!!! Way to go.........wish hogs were as plentiful in California and the regulations were as lenient as in Florida and Texas. Thanks for posting. Love this out-of-state hog hunting stories.
