Last warning. There seems to be a few common denominators between this thread and the few in the muley forum that are going to hell. Keep it up and the threads will go away for the admins to dowhatever they see fit. If you don't like it, don't come back....the pissing matches are over.

I am not a religous man and that prayer/poem takes plugs at me lol (I have tattoos and piercings.)But I understand it and do agree with some of it. I have no problem with people having thier beliefs. I will respect theirs as long as they respect mine and not force an issue. A prayer on this forum is not forcing a belief just like letting a child pray in his free time at school is not pressing a belief if you don't like it don't read it or listen to it.

My stance is I def. don't believe in religion and I don't know if a god exists as he is spoken, but just as I can't disprove him they can't prove it either. Also I don't need religion to keep me on a straight and narrow, I know what is right and wrong, good and bad. I also think that if their was a creator he gave us everything we need and dosen't control us. I often tell people how do you know this world we live in isn't heavan. We have free will and the abillity to achieve whatever we want. Their are struggles but life would be pretty boring without them lol....

So we all really want the same things in life religious or not so lets just go hunt. Have fun and remember we are all just dumb animals that really don't know sh*t about anything lol.....

These guys may come off as arrogant but they are not and are willing to give advice when asked. They have been hunting for a long time and just learned the tricks and it continues to change. If they knew everything and it wasn't still a challenge I think these guys would quit. Hell they told me they don't hunt with compound bows anymore because it is too easy. They told me I was overthinking my hunting and they are right. They say get out there as much as possible and you will kill deer. I havn't gotten my first yet but I am begginging to believe it is all about being out and about. Even if you don't take notes your brain stores and processes everything you saw and felt when you see your prey. Everytime you learn something new. That experience only comes by doing. If KWB told me a good spot but I didn't know how to hunt it I would just push the animals out of that area and wouldn't get anything anyway. Deer are all over big ones are not it takes alot of looking in the right places and no one wantst to give that info up easily.
and I don't blame them.

You guys would be fools to loose these posts buy bashing these guys. I won't loose out because I know where they shoot.
Keep up the good work guys keep having fun on this forum lol....

Chris.

Complaints are coming in on this thread. You guys have had multiple warnings and they're clear as a bell. Let's keep it polite and on topic. If you need to, please take the time to re-read some of the forum rules, which can be found here and here.

If you have any questions about what you read there, any of the moderators will respond to your e-mails.

Nice bucks, but the one poster has a point - it would be nice if you guys would throw out a word of advice or two. KWB gave a few tips throughout his posts last year and I enjoyed the pics as well as the practical tips.
You asked for a word of advice or two. The very next post may have been the best advice you have ever recieved. You may not agree with it but it seems a little rude to ASK for advice then tell someone they are low on IQ and shouldn't even vote. Not tryin' to pester you just want you to realize that someone who is passionate about hunting may also be passionate about his God and TRULY believe it is in YOUR best interest to check into it. Just trying to help you understand cause you seemed a little irate about his post as if it were an attack on you or something. Just an opinion and you are entitled to a different one but not to rip someone like that. Peace

That campfire looks better all the time.

Well. I'm gonna stay out of this "back yard buck, look at me at sunrise and sunset thread."
And hey. Where's the tags?

Envy is an emotion that "occurs when a person lacks another’s superior quality, achievement, or possession and desires it." They also feel that it is not possible (or not easy) for them to have what they want. Otherwise they would simply go get what the other person had, and they would be satisfied. At the core of envy seems to be an upward social comparison that threatens a person's self-esteem: another person has something that the envier considers to be important to have. A comparison is often rooted in the envier feeling low self-confidence, and they feel that they need to be or have the same things as others. If they don't have it, or they can't have it, they feel envy.

first off, the poem is right-on... the founding fathers understood the importance of God and it's sad to see that rapidly deminish in our nation. i don't know how you'd loose your IQ from reading that post, but whatever... i just consider the source and try ignoring it.

i really don't understand the hate in this thread...? you guys are taggin' some amazing animals in areas that have success rates below 7% with a majority of the animals being forks. honestly, to me, you guys set bar. i'm new to bow hunting (my 1st season), and i tagged out two months after purchasing my first bow. if you ever have the desire to be a mentor, i would be more than willing to go "there and beyond". i am very inspired by your thread and i say you should keep it up... AMAZING.

where can i get some good info on traditional bows? that looks like it would be the ultimate!

KWB,

Let it go. This is a direct warning. The pictures and posts are fine, but we WILL NOT TOLERATE name calling or adding fuel to a fire.

It appears to me that this thread has truely given more than it has recieved... There are so many increadibly informative posts made here, that if one chooses to read through it's entirety, should be well informed. I hope everyone chooses not to loose the purpose of why this post was created. Why Jesse's is here... To show and share our mutual draw to the outdoors. There is information and great pictures here. KWB would be repeating himself if he were to re post tips... There are enough tips here for all of us to learn something great. Let's share this mutual respect of the outdoors together and show that we are responsible civilized adults... Everyone needs to shake hands metaphorically speaking and be stand up men... No kids here... If I fed the fire no matter how I might feel about anyone here. I appologize. Bottom line is that these posts are going to go away... I only want to contribute to Jesse's if the people here are worth sharing with. Jesse's appears to be "something" because of "all" of us... If it is otherwise I and we can take our memories elsewhere, not saying I personally would be missed...

Sincerest Regards...

If those are back yard bucks, I'm living in the wrong house. KWB, I must admit, I am a bit envious but in a good way. Seeing your pictures just makes me want to get out there and try harder and hike further. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
