On this hog I used a sheet to put all of the meat on and let it cool, I cut down the spine next to the bone and pluck the backstraps first and take the meat on the neck all at once.

I cut the top of the rib cage on this one because I wanted to document the arrows path, but if I was just taking the meat I would skip that.

After you bone out all of the meat on this side, just flip it over and do it again remember to pluck the tender lions which are on the inside next to the spine and above the guts.

I have already done the other side, the reason the knife is stuck in him is, I wanted to show where the arrow exited.

King,

In reading this post it seems you hunt primarily public land, is this true for the piggies as well? Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Deer is all public land, but it's not the same with pigs, I have killed a few on public land but there so shot up it's a hard gig with a bow not to menchen a trad bow with it's limataions.

It can & has been done, you have to hunt vary hard just to find them in day light hours, been there done that.

I have found a few ranches that I have been able to get access on and it's good, vary good in California it's like finding gold

suavegato, Cool pic's I like um
Hey Thanks. I take that hat with me EVERYWHERE! It makes great Crimas cards! I have sent out crimas cards of me in that same hat for years... From 60 feet under water scuba diving on Palencar Reef in Cozumel, to posing with a cactus in the arizona desert, to all kinds of parties, and game kills... Every year I get a lot of anticipation from my card list... what's it gonna be this year etc.? Good times!

I HATE YOU GUYS!!!! JUST KIDDING......I don't know any of you personally, YET, but it is quite obvious you all know how to get er done! I have been hunting off and on for the last 20 years in D11 and know how difficult it is to hunt and kill on a regular basis, especially quality bucks such as the ones you guys are killin...I love the pics and post's and have found many pointers thru out this thread, thank you vary much.

King-

I had to show one of my sub-contractors this thread and of course he knows you. He now knows what a killin machine you are. Hope you don't mind but he was quite impressed and is looking to do some huntin this year. His name is Brian and shoots at Verdugo, said he just got hooked up by elite? and recieved a new GT500 to shoot. Great guy too. Keep the pics and tips coming...Thanks Todd
