The pic of my avatr is the same morning I shot this buck about 2 hr later.

The shot went in the left front shoulder he was qurtering strong at me, I shoot 55lbs with a 550 gr arrow and a grizzly 160gr head, the arrow passed through his whole body exiting his right rear leg.

Nice bowhunting career. The pics of you, how long of a span do these photos represent? Were any of these deer taken in So Cal?

Thanks for posting.

Edit - I just read page 2. All of my questions answered. Thanks again for posting your pics, I truly enjoyed viewing them... And the "tag question" comeback is classic.... LOL. This is a great forum, stick around we've got a great bunch of guys here.

Absolutely awesome!!! You will find around here that people tend to go off on tangents sometimes for no reason. Absolutely awesome bucks and the only comment somebody can make is about a tag. Unbelievable. Once again great Bucks.

INSANE. Awesome success you've had. I recognize some of those pics from the CBH book. Congrats, you've accomplished what most of us only dream of. How many Cali buck have you killed? Do you have a job? I can't even imagine the time required to be consistently successful like that.

Welcome. I'm glad you're here. You obviously bring a wealth of experience to JHO.

Man thanks for sharing such an awesome life of deer hunting. I know there are a lot of jealous people me included. That really motivated me more to get more of those deer with stick and string.

I can't help but noticing not a single tag on any of your bucks, including the fork you were packing out then shot another, nor the one on your mountain bike?

you dont need a tag when you shoot them in a park

Headstrong, I don't know you but here at JHO we don't talk down to people. I don't know if I would be bragging about at whopping 23" rifle buck. Kingwouldbe certainly has accomplished what most of us won't do in a lifetime. Go ahead and write down what makes you feel good or better yet pick up a longbow and give it a try. Have a nice day.

Based on Headstrongs only 2 posts, not sure he will be around JHO long.
Kingwouldbe has made some great kills and that is really all there is to it.

The tags in his ear for the pic. I'm not sayin' you're illegal, just askin' for trouble from luking DFG. I'm sure you'd hate to lose that beautiful recurve and or bike. Somethin' to think about, that's all.....
