Some have read about me whinning because I have not been ablt to find a shed in nearly 50 hrs of shed hunting, well - no more! Took my two sons trout fishing on Saturday evening, after they caught several suckers and a nice 17 inch brown trout we decided to walk the woods and shoot my sons BB-gun he got for Christmas. You guessed it! While walking out of the woods, my 8 yr old son said 'look dad' and there laid a jaw bone of a young deer. we decided to look for the rest of the bones, I took a couple steps and just about stepped on a small 4 point that had nearly everything chewed off. I was air borne going for that antler and have my sons eyes to thank-(I stepped right over that jaw bone he seen!) without him I would have walked right past our shed! My only regret is, in my excitement I should have let my sons pick up the shed instead of myself. I have found sheds scoring from 40 up to 72 per side but this is the one I know I'll remember for a long time! The big man upstairs works is weird ways = it took a special fishing trip with two of my best friends to find my most memerable antler!
