I'm sure the insurance agent got a kick out of it when the claim was filed.

Heck of a set of can openers on his head....[/b]

Thats because hes in a national park. They ALL look like that in yellowstone. I am actually going to do a summer internship up there next summer as a park ranger. Should be lots fun since i have been going up there just about every year since I was 2 years old. I will also do a lot of scouting for an elk hunt with my cousin next fall in idaho.

Hey Sasquatch619,

When you go up there, get the straight dope of the Yellowstone herd. I have friends in Billings and they say that the herd is down 50%+...due to the idiotic reintroduction of the wolf.

Dave, Ive heard the same thing from park rangers up there. Wolves are awesome creatures, but they are devastating the northern yellowstone heard. Two summers ago we went wolf "spotting" in the lamar valley in the north end of the park with a bunch of san franciscoites. We were spotting these things from 1/2 mile plus because it was almost impossible to get closer without really putting your life in danger (griz bears and bison). Well the day after, we were on dunraven pass which is on the east side of the park having lunch about 100 yards off the road, and I opened the door to the motorhome to see a HUGE black wolf 40 yards away from the door. I thought it was funny that all these hardcore treehuggers never got within 1/2 mile, and we saw one at 40 yards. T'was quite an awesome experience, but would not like to see a pack in the wild when im not in a vehicle.
