Just got my confirmation for july 24th-26th expect it to be hot. I'll be taking a friends 15 year old son, his dad has taken him on public land hunts no sign no pigs. While eating boar kabobs at our barns memorial day BBQ he was full of questions about hunting hogs.Thought i'd satiisfy his curiosity with a guided hunt .This is my first time at the Jack Ranch,has anyone hunted it before?

Never hunted the Jack Ranch, but a ranch I am lucky enough to have permission to hunt backs up to the Jack Ranch. I've senn plenty of hogs on his property. Go get em....

My Dad, son and I hunted there last year April. We had a great time. Saw a lot of hogs and some great country. Also saw deer, rabbits, quail, bobcat, coyote. Should be a great time for the kid. My son was 13 and he shot two pigs. This was not his first big game animal but it was his first pig. I think what he remembers most was when we had a group of hogs in the brush 30 feet below us and we weren't sure where they were going to exit. We did not get a pig out of this group but they produced the most excitement for us. You should have a great time.
