Hi Everyone,

I've been watching here for a couple of days and thought I'd share a picture of some Columbian Blacktails my office has picked up in the last year. Don't see too many blacktails on this site, so here are some to get the eyes going.

All three skulls are 3 pointer's, the one on the left was found this past January jammed upside down in heavy brush. It took some force to pry the horns out, and it was quite the shock when found!

The shed on the bottom left is the best of the group so far. It was picked up last Monday lying in the middle of the road. It'd been there for well over a month and one can only hope we'll find the other side to this monster.

Have fun hunting everyone, we sure do!

From the land of big sticks,

Osulogger......great looking antlers. What kind of "office" is it that picks up racks and sheds?? Are you guys a logging or timber firm, cruisers or what? Pretty nice stuff...heavy and dark. Come to think of it, that would be a great "team builder" at the office. Instead of a softball game or barbeque....a full day shed hunt!

osulogger,
Your right, we don't get to see much for blacktail sheds on here. Thanks for posting. Without knowing much about them, its tough for me to judge their size. The North American Shed Hunters Club lists, Single typical 45 inches,
Single non-typical 50 inches for Columbia Blacktail to make the record book for sheds. To give me a little perspective, how many inches do those two bigger sheds go? Thanks and keep the pics coming!

CONGRATS on your finds!!I don't know much about blacktails, but I'd say those pick-ups look pretty big for blacktails.
And that big shed on the bottom has some serious mass to it.WOW!!
