Ktk ur nuts if it was my land unless I give u written permission stay out!

lol.... ok thank you for your comment. Make sure your land is posted and never ask a cowboy to help you in any way. Im sure its just a idea a nut would come up with. But all cowboys are welcome on our family land. We like to share our love of the out doors. Everyone is also welcome to come shed hunt anytime. Not everyone has there own land so it is nice to have some were to ride or just hike around.

That's bull IMO I know it's the law if it's not posted u can trespass but that's where u separate good people from bad if I know land is private posted or not you won't see me on it! It's called ethics some people have them some don't. Lol I'm pretty sure just because I wouldn't allow people to ride on my land without permission doesn't mean no cowboy would ever help me if needed but good theory

not sure were the ruffled feathers came from. But as I said in the first post. Maybe he didn't know the land is privet and is just out for a joy ride. I than suggested teaming up with the cowboy to help cover more land and keep a eye on things. To which you call me names. So really don't get what the beef is. I never said people should use any land with out permission if they know it is private. That's why I asked if the land is posted and also said maybe the guy didn't know he had crossed on to some ones land that dose not want him there. Sorry to offend you. Although this site is a great place to share and chat. This is my last words on this. No need to argue over something it seems we both agree on. ie= Don't trespass on my land.
thanks again for the replay.

When I was dad was in the hospital and I was doing work on his property, I put up my trail cam in his back yard because I suspected thieves. Sure enough, I caught them on camera. I happen to recognize the person on the video as someone that lived in that neighborhood and brought it to the police. The used it as evidence and confronted they guy. He admitted, and gave everything back to avoid being arrested (I let him off).
By the way, my Moultrie trail cam has the same problem as Bisonic's in that after it detects motion, it waits some time before taking the picture. I guess Moultrie thought that would do a better job at catching the wild game, but it is terrible for catching things on the move. I either get the back of something, or nothing at all.
Does any one know if the other brands take a picture right when motion is detected?

I hope you find this guy. Like everyone was saying earlier, its not just the cost of the item that was stolen. Its the idea of someone stealing from you that is just annoying as hell.

I have the idea who the guy is. I had a conversation with him and he denies everything. Went to the police. They say there is not enough evidence, there is no damage, there is no public interest, there is not enough policemen to deal with it, he needs to be caught on hot, and 1,000s blah blah blah.....

And TRA, I'd catch you in a sec, just by your ink, you are the only one LOL.....

Brief update on my tresspasser issue... After the problems I'd had before I put up five cameras all over the property. Hadn't seen anything other than critters until I got a good video of a guy walking the back road that is the property line, though he was walking away from the camera so I couldn't see his face. Sent it to my neighbor to let him know and he replied "that's me!" At least he was impressed at how well hidden the camera was.
