I was doing some depredation hunting a few weeks ago and I shot a hog with three tusks. I kept its head since at the time I thought it had a 3.5 inch tusk and a broken tusk. When I skinned the head it had a 3.5 inch tusk and 2 3 inch tusks that were criss crossed. A guy told me it was genetic. Has anyone else ever seen this?

There is a guy in monterey county who killed a hog years back that had 2 lower tusks on one side of the jaw. There is a pic of it in the Hunter Supply store in salinas.

That is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Better reason he is no longer alive

Tayor31, Are the tusks hollow or solid?
Solid = good luck... but you don't need luck, you've already killed the damn hog.
