Today was the best day I have ever had in Iowa!

Today was the type of day shed hunters dream about. I tried to get two buddies to go along. They couldn't get off work. I found 17 sheds today in one area over a 4 hour period. The strangest thing is I only found one matched set. There were 15 fresh sheds and 2 from last year. I can't wait to get back out and have another look around, I figure I only covered about a 1/3 of the ground. I took photos of all of them, somehow I messed up one of the photos. So there will only be 16 field photos and 1 group photo. Most of the sheds were medium to small in size, although I did pick up one huge 4 point and another good 6 point side.

Some how I messed up number 13, the digital camera I used today wasn't mine and I won't be using it again. I thought most of the photos turned out terrible.

Here is the group photo. I've had a good week-since last Saturday I have found 37 sheds. I can't wait to get back out tomorrow.

AWESOME!! That sounds like the dreams I have of shed hunting.Did it bring back memories of Easter as a child?lol
My personal record for a day is 14 and that was ALL day not 4 hours.On the average you found a shed every 14 mins.AWESOME!!
I noticed there wasn't any spikes in that bunch.Does Iowa have any spike bucks?

Hopefully you had a backpack!!I think my best walk ended up with 12 in hand and no backpack.It was a challenge packin all that bone at once.My arms were dead when I got back to the truck.

I can't believe you don't have any snow.I'm still trudging through a foot en a half here.Can't wait for it to drop to make it easier findin'.
