I went on my hog hunt that the Willoughby's donated to the hunt auction this morning. I killed the most expensive pig I have ever killed, a fat 225 lb sow and after Blake skinned my hog he asked if I would like to go look for a hog to run two of his pups on. I jumped at the opportunity and it didn't take them long to bay a hog, Blake dispatched the good sized sow after the dogs worked the bay for awhile. The most fun was when she finally broke the bay and charged my wife who was standing about 75 yards away and threw up her camers to take a picture and I yelled at her to get out of the way and the hog just missed her, Tom, Blake and I were laughing so hard. These guys are a lot of fun to hunt with.
I decided at Christmas to take my dad on a guided hog hunt since he can't hunt or go with me. There are guides up here in N. CA but I figured I should give the Willoughby's the business since they donated a hunt to a good cause. I called Tom and told him my dad was not in good shape and smokes three packs of cigaretts a day so it would not be a "normal" hunt. His reply, "No prblem we will get him a hog". I took my dad on Jan. 9 and after seeing 25 hogs we found the "right" sitauation, a sleeping hog under an oak tree. We had to wake up the 225 lb 3" tusked boar to tell him he was dead.
Anybody wanting to go on a great guided hog hunting trip should check this father and son team out.

I have heard good things about Tom Willoughby for years. I keep meaning to give him a call and book a hunt (never hunted pigs before), but just never get around to it. Anybody know what his rates are these days?

They charge $450 a hunt and if you want to see a good population of hogs and kill one these guys are the one for you. They are basically spot and stalk however the have yhe dogs in the truck "just in case". They are located in King City and have 120k acres both north and south of there.

I'll 2nd what Brian says about Tom. I hunted with him several years ago and killed a hog that was over 300lbs. I know several friends that have had the same experiance. It's a great hunt.

Brian S. and I hunted with Tom & Blake last spring and they ARE great. Those guys are the Zen masters of the wild pig. I think Blake is part mountain goat. I'm betting Brian S. would swear it.

Hey guy's, If Tom's busy , I just went on a hunt with mustang guide service. What a hunt! saw over 120 hugs, all in about 2 hours, hunt was over before I knew it!
Frank hunts about 75,000 acres, great deal. I paid $400.00 for two days, but I was done in half a day. Might not be that way for everyone, but I had a blast!

I've hunted with Tom 2X, once in 84' and again in 2000. Both hunts were great. Only difference was a a newer truck. Saw more than enough pigs. Lots of fun and many stories..........Erich.

Hogskin and I had a great trip up there last summer. Blake did wear a good portion of my boots in the process though. They put us on lots of pigs only we just kept missing them. Just trying to get the most of the weekend.

. Not only was it a good hunt but a we also got to see what thsoe stadium dirt track trucks go through. Blake and his old chevy can drive the bumper off Ivan "Ironman" Stewart up there up in those hills. One bit of warning don't fall asleep in his truck, we were headed to one of the ranches and I went into a lack of caffiene coma for a couple minutes. He slammed on the brakes and screamed and I about
