We have been using swinging doors like on a small animal trap that locks when tripped.  Have been catching small pigs (under 25 pounds).  Sometimes the sows are walking around the traps trying to get in but can't.  I was told to make our doors so that once tripped something on the outside that wanted in could push the door up and get in.  My only problem with that is if the door can be pushed up from the outside the hogs that are on the inside could possibly get out.  What do ya'll think?

Gus,

My trapping experience has been limited to a single-catch instance with a door that slides down when tripped.  I have found that the repeating style doors tend to be too vulnerable to "jail breaks".
