well, i cancelled my trip to AZ. i just called my brother and cancelled my texas pig hunt in feb.

my wife is laid off, and just about to start up college. she wants a different degree....nursing. i am supportive. the CA governator just sent a memo to us, making it 90% positive that i am taking a paycut in the form of two days off...no pay.

i talked to my boss. and he is going to work it so i get a 4-day weekend every month. may as well chase the local pig population. i made it semi-official that i will only bow hunt. helps that i left my rifle arsenal back in texas.

anyone want to go hunting? i would accept a blindfold coming/going from any secret spots :D
i dont know california really well. i have only picked up the bow for two years.

on the bright side. the very second my wife lands a new career...i am booking a killer hunting trip...maybe an african bowhunt...hahaha.

I feel your pain brother. I work in the construction field and I have personally handed out over a hundred final checks in the past two years. Handing out those checks are something you never get used to. I myself have canceled my last three trips back to Nebraska because of the bad economy. Keeping my hunting local isn't so bad though. Hang in there, it will eventually get better.
