Here are the pictures of the sheds we found this year. Last year we found two sheds about 1/4 mile from this year's collection. The Tule Elk seem to shed about the first week in February. We looked at this same time last year also. The album also shows a 2x3 deer skull, two sheds from a year back and one fresh spike. Several sheds have broken tines, one really nice shed has the G2 broken, and we think two are a matched set.

Awesome!! Now you got me fired up ready to go look for some Pa elk sheds.
It'll be hard to top that one single shed hunting day.(11 elk sheds) Congrats!!
Must have been a pain carrying all those sheds around?

BTW-what about the bobcat pic?

deershed,
When we were coming back to our spot that we had picked for the evening stand, sure enough we catch a bobcat running through the trees. I got set up and shot with my 17 Rem and knocked the cat on his butt. As I was approaching his position, he got up and made it into some thick stuff and left me looking foolish.
Not long after that, my brother gets an opportunity shot at a coyote and the samething happens to him. So, going into our stand for the evening, we were a little bummed out. But, the hunting gods produced a nice coyote for us that evening.

Man, those are cool sheds. To me, they look a little different somehow. Lotsa mass at the bases and some blading or flattening out on the ends....they look like they came from older aged bulls. Those sheds have quite a lot of character I think. I reckon those rascals been fighting some too. Very nice.
