Turkey opener

1-1/2 days till fall turkey opens. I will be taking my 7 year old with me. Got a good spot picked out that has life. Anybody else going? Don’t need your honey hole but around about where? I will be in south Monterey county California. Scouting photos below. Young jakes and hens no long beards but first in the sight gets it Saturday morning. Last question. Decoys and call or just call or just decoy or sit silent. Thanks guys and gals, good luck shoot straight be safe

Los padres. I scouted again and no sign at all. But you never know till you go. After a short morning hunt I am taking the family today the ranch trip n Parkfield for dove and quail. Haven’t seen signs there but will take the calls and decoys will n case. Good luck shoot straight be safe
