Turner's is hosting slate of wild turkey hunting seminars in March
CHINO -- Turner's Outdoorsman will be hosting three wild turkey hunting seminars featuring J.R. Kellar of Hunter Specialties, one of the finest turkey callers and hunters in the nation today. The seminars will be held at two stores and Mike Raahauge's Shooting Enterprises over three days starting March 13th, according to Andy McCormick, director of promotions for Turner's.
The first event will begin 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Turner's West Covina store. The second seminar will be 6 :30 p.m. Friday, March 14, at the San Marco store, while the Saturday, March 15, event will be held from 9 a.m. through noon at Raahauge's. The Raahauge's event will also have other speakers and there will be opportunities for hunters to pattern their shotguns with a variety of turkey loads.
All three events are free, but reservations are suggested because space is limited. To reserve spots in West Covina, call 626-858-8948. For San Marcos, you can call 760-741-1570, while to reserve spots at Raahauge's call (909) 735-7981.
