oh, another insult from an “Expert” at jho. I’ve heard them all, yours is one of the weaker ones. I’ll keep posting and you will slither away like the others. Btw, please tell my neighbor that has his hunting ranch next to mine that I’m not selling. I don’t care if he keeps offering well over 7 figures.

You shoot behind the ear?

Not just behind the ear, but the neck/spinal chord. If a hog has his head up the shot is lower than the ear, if it’s head is down than it’s close to behind the ear. And I try to shoot in between the ear and shoulder. And if the hog starts moving as you shoot, or if your shot is off a little, you are still hitting an area that will drop the hog. I rarely loose a hog and most just drop. I learned from this video:
