Two boars

Shot two boars today, my partner shot one about 160-170 pounds and I shot one about 110-120. He got his at 80 yards with the 25/06 and I got mine with the .243 at 20 yards(the one time I don't take my bow and there they are

. ) I'll have pictures posted by the end of the day. I also am pretty sure that these were some of the one's that were eating off that dead cow so we'll see how they turn out after the bbq.

Also upon dressing out my partners boar we noticed that he only had one testicle. Has anyone esle experienced this? Is this the result of in-breeding?

Good job, CA! Sounds like a fun hunt.

The one-testicle thing could be a result of fighting, or just a basic birth defect. Happens to lots of critters, including people.

Hmmm... beef and pork in the same animal. How cool!

Great job on the pigs. I would not worry about the one testical my dad got a sow/boar (it had both) once and it was still good eating

Perhaps the one-testicled pig had just been in the water which was cold. Heck if it can happen to me then it can happen to pigs.
