Two down at Tejon

Me and Kelly (Kravnet) and his buddy Roy headed out to Tejon for a quick Friday mor king scout and bagged two nice meat sows. I finally got one on Tejon with the Omega ML! This one is for you Allen (my freinds410). Hoorah!

Hey Solus, I have been busy all this year with building our house so not too much extra time for the fun stuff. I got on a friend pass with Kelli so this was not a management hunt which I think comes next weekend...
Thanks Craig, I was happy to get one on Tejon with the smokepole! I have to make one of those hitch skinning poles (like you see in the last picture) it made life soooo easy out in the field for skinning those rascals out.

Ain't it the truth, he spotted the first three pigs not 2 minutes into the north gate, we headed them off and ran over a ridge. I was 10 steps behind him. By the time I got to the ridge he shot one and was taking a shot on the second one. First one was down and kicking not 5 minutes in the gate! We found blood and some bone fragments from the second one but lost the trail. Guy is a frickkin Machine!

Great job k_rad! Lived here in So. Cal. all my life and have never been to Tejon, someday I'll try it!. Great freezer filler, wild boar has been my staple food for a few months now. You been up to the sierras to wet a line yet?

The uphill climb with that pig was definitely humbling....Especially because Kelly was beastmoding it! lol
