When I lived in Germany I never heard of any hunting incidents.

That is sad, just adds to the saying of, "Be sure of your target BEFORE you shoot". You can't pull the bullet back.

Hunting in a large group, orange should be mandatory.

That is just awful. They didn't even get a chance to make better hunting buddies. Going back to rich's phrase.....people really need to look at their target carefully before pulling the trigger, especially in a large group like that.

Not sure about nowadays, but when I lived there those guys liked to drink while hunting and doing large scale drives. Drivers (usually town kids) wear orange, but the hunters don't. I was always hit up by the local group of hunters to hep drive when I was a kid. You were well paid and fed but no thanks! :skeered:
