UFO Sighting While Hunting

Yep, I saw it too. I was at FHL base on Saturday, driving on the dirt road from the hunting ground. Shortly after 6PM, I witness the motionless object floating in the air (above FHL area 7/3) with a very strong beam. It was hovering so low that I thought the military was out looking for someone. I watched it for a good two minutes as I drove towards it. The entire time, believing that I was watching a military aircraft until it suddenly moved at a speed I have never seen before. Along the dirt road, I questioned half a dozen military personnel and they all saw it too. And yes, they were in shock too. Call me crazy but that was no missile.

I used to live in L.A. and I used to work in aerospace and on the coast. Every five years or so we see something like that. It's most dramatic when it happens between dusk and shortly after dark. We're in the dark but it's high enough that the sunlight hits it. It's a rocket out of Vandenburg. First it goes straight up and seems (if you're close) to be standing still. When it's fairly high and above most of the atmosphere it pitches over and goes more sideways. That's when it seems to accelerate. I've seen it when the trail is probably more than twenty miles long.

Dramatic, but not mysterious or unexplained.

I saw it too. It was amazing.
Just got back to my camp in Los Padres...cracked open a beer, and the show began. opcorn:

Lots of thoughts were going through my mind: (aircraft searching for something, comet, missile (WTF?), UFO, secret military aircraft or weapon, etc.). Ok, sooo it was a Trident missile...that's the ticket! :

Probably will never see something quite like that again!

It was a sub launched missile. I was in san Diego last week picking up a rhino and there was arather large military exercise goning on.i stopped and watch for awhile was pretty amazing
