Hey all you guys who've been waiting so patiently for me to finally get these things out... the apps for February's JHO/Tejon Archery hunt are in the mail today!

I would apologize for the delay, but the heck with that... I'm not getting paid for this.

Seriously, lots of other priorities... but here they are. Still plenty of time before the event.

I'm going on vacation for two weeks, and heading out Monday. I may be checking in online occasionally next week, so if you requested an app packet and don't get one by Wednesday, 10/11, send me a note and let me know. I got everyone that's on the spreadsheet, but it seems like I had more requests than this.

PLEASE... before you send the app back to me...

• Make sure you've read all of the pages thoroughly.
• Make sure checks are made out appropriately.
• Make sure paperwork is complete.
• If you're applying as a party, please include the apps for your entire party when you reply. Remember there are only 12 slots open for this hunt, and those slots go to the first 12 paid apps I receive.

If you would, let me know what to do if you don't make the slot for this trip. I have another date booked for the first weekend of June, and I can put you in that hunt if you'd like. Or I can just send your app packet back to you.

Heya Russ,

You're in, along with four other guys as of right now. I know there are a couple of folks who swear they're in... but haven't received anything yet.

Several folks have emailed me asking if there is still space... as of right now, yes. There are 7 slots still unclaimed. However, if you want a space follow the instructions above. Please do NOT call me on the phone. If you email me the information requested above, it gives me a record that is much better than my memory.

I know.. my customer service sucks. But hey... I try.

Wow that suprises me, I thought it would be a mad dash for the mailbox being only 12 spots.
On a cost basis I think your customer service is great.

Still, only got five paid apps back. I know, February is a long ways off... and if you don't make it, there's always the June hunt.
