There is a new wrinkle in our August 1 report that a large number of lost hunting rifles have been found in government warehouses in South Africa - namely, it appears that many of these rifles belong to hunters who checked their bags directly from Maun, Botswana, back to the United States or Europe via Johannesburg International Airport (JIA). If you are headed to Botswana via JIA and you plan to return that way, our advice is to be extremely careful. More details on this, and on an interim plan to recover lost rifles are available at E-Mail Extra. Or see next month's issue of The Hunting Report. – Don Causey, Editor/Publisher.
