VSFB-I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the zones/units work. How do you know what weapons you can use in each unit? My father in law and I just got our access and we are going to look for some pigs up there on the 17th. I haven't been able to locate anything on the Zone breakdown.

I looked into hunting there and even got a permit (you have to qualify as current LE/Fire and/or retired/active military)., but I never actually went there. I understand there are a lot of pigs there. I did find a facebook page for vandeburg hunting as well as a hunting page group. I think a quick google search should help you out. I asked questions about best zones for hunting and someone answered me, so they are active on those pages.

Thanks for the reply. We put in the miles and figured out the map they had at the base game warden's office. No luck, but we got in some quality scouting. I just didn't want to break any rules. Vandenberg is a beautiful base. It's a lot better than living on a ship
