Sounds like you'll have plenty of opportunities. I would just get to know the neighbors first.

Thanks guys, but this is the story and legacy of my pig hunting adventures, blunders and missed opportunities and now minor obstacle and u couldn't ask for a better scenario having them in your back yard a few yards from the kitchen. I will need a therapist soon....lol
I don't think my patio screen enclosure was ment to be a shoot through blind....lol
I didn't get a chance to talk to the one nieghbor today but did talk to one nieghbor on the other side of me and he said i am welcome to take them out if I see them on their property they love pork chops. And they have some property elsewhere they want to take me hunting.
I guess I should shoot first and ask questions later but my Gemini side comes out and changes my mind and gets the best of me sometimes.
But I put some corn, bananas and apples in a different location to give me a better advantage for a shot not so close to my one neighbors property line and hopefully I can talk to them tomorrow and it will be all cool.
Today was a done deal if I didn't stop to think, I can can only be mad at myself.
But sooner or later I will put one down and do a happy dance........tra

Better go to a feed store and buy a50-70LB bag of barley for $10 -15. Pigs do not eat bananas, oranges etc.

Pigs love bananas. They are major pests in banana plantations in Australia.

Maybe they got used to being around them, but here in CA we tried and they ate everything around but never touched banana nor orange.

This is an awesome discussion. Look at it! We are actually talking about a friend/forum member shooting a wild pig in his backyard. Pretty hilarious.

TRA, how is the legality of it. City limits and all??
Now loosing and arrow from your kitchen would be a story for life.

On your own private property anything goes. No license, no tags, nada. they are considered highly invasive here in florida.
There not a greedy state like Ca. Who turned it into a big game animal to hunt and make money even though the are considered invasive.
And check this out once u are 65 here in Florida no license is further required to hunt or fish, is that awesome or what, they really look out for senior citizens, military and disabled in this state with great perks compared to other state's.....
Have I mentioned I love Florida!...lol....tra
Just think about it, no long drives to gwt to your hunting spot, gas and time, no paying an outfitter $600.With no guarantees for not even 2 complete days of hunting , no costly tags required, no rough packing out.
The convenience sounds great to me right now......I would classify this as a dream hunt....lol....tra
This outfitter price bounces around once in a while for their meat hog hunt there about 45 minutes away from me.
It's been as low as $99. And they had it at $125., $145. And now $175. No license or tags required no kill no pay...still a hell of a better deal then any outfitter in ca. Can ever offer...

They stopped bear hunting a few years ago but they are starting to overpopulate again and becoming a nusciance and the possibility of legal bear hunting again in florida is being discussed.
Deer u need a license and tag. But the license and tags or permits are dirt cheap out here belive me.....tra

They are associated with really fat fingers. However, there is no blood relation.

Ya got me, sometimes I just press keys, without knowing what I'm pressing, other times, I think I'm pressing keys, when Ia m not.

He isn't sharing the entire story...like the fact the air weighs 100lbs and everyone's backyard has elaborate screening to protect them from bug bites and noseeums. My in-laws live in Hobe Sound, I visit every so often to remind myself how much other places outside So. Calif. suck.
