Voice of California hunter/conservationist shuts down operations

The California Outdoor Heritage Alliance (COHA), which hoped to be the voice of the hunter/conservationist and bridge the gap with environmentalists, has quietly folded its tent and ceased operations. The primary issue, over and over in California, turned to firearms, urban vs. rural, said Bill Gaines, the former president of COHA, in an interview back when COHA was well-funded, a growing force across the state and had the ear of thousands on both sides of the environmentalists’ aisle.
