I have a question. I wanted to submit my pic for the contest but the post is closed for additional entry. The rule says the contest will end Jan. 31st 2005 and then all the members will vote for the winner. The contest has not ended yet. How come the post is closed and the votes are already in?

The blacktail pic contest said "Contest will end Dec. 31st 2004 and then all the members will vote for the winner." That makes more sense.

Am I missing some early deadline announcement to Hog Pic Contest?

If you will scroll down a little further on the other thread with the pictures, you will see where Jesse posted the above reply. Thats why it ended on Dec 31st. Hope that helps clear up the confusion.

I didn't even get one vote??? I'm calling shenanagens. I guess next time I need to campaign a little harder.....maybe spend a few bucks on some quality bumper stickers and buttons.

Hire Backcountry, he lobbied pretty hard to try and get him pumkin picked back at halloween. I think he would make a great campaign director.
