OK, I will give you the link to the file that you will need to add to google earth. They have a load of very good overlays on that site. the one I linked here is for all of the lands administrated by the Redding office.

Thank You very much. Do you have any that are south of there? Like around Hwy. 20?

The area on the south east side is pretty much private and fenced off. You have to drive in a litle ways before you get into the public BLM stuff. You can hunt the south west but it is pretty rough.

Bear Valley was loaded with hogs, deer, elk, and even a few bears when I worked there last year. Jason Montagner of Northern Powder Outfitters had the hunting rights on the ranch I worked on and his clients hammered the hogs, it was close to 100 % shot oppertunity. I only hunted Walker Ridge once and found alot of bear sign. The hogs seem to come out of the thick stuff in the evenings I used to see them on Bear Vally road sometime as I was driving in the evenings. I think I might have to go give it a try later this spring.

Speck,

I think at the time it worked out to be about $100 per person. I could never get anyone to commit with me so I never followed up. I have a BLM map somewhere that has the phone number on it. I'm sure it hasn't changed. It was the big ranch on the left as you drive down Bear Valley after you come off of Walker Ridge. There were working cattle in the corrals and we stopped and watched when one of the cowboys came over to see what we wanted.

Any chance you still have that phone number? Thanks!
