If you do forget it. The law of the rookie will prevail. My wife got her first hunting license and sent her applications in yesterday. So she'll probably draw an elk tag first time out.

Very true. I got drawn first time applying as a party. Me and my buddy were lucky enough to tag out on some nice Tule Cow Elk out of Fort Hunter Liggett. Now I am applying for Bull tags.

At least I am on the way to a Cow Elk slam. Hard part done,Tule. Now for Roosevelt and Rocky Mt. to complete.
