Almost finished waterproofing my owl in a carlon box for a week or longer underwater. Want a picture of a beaver or otter under water. After I place new batteries in the cam I will put marine goop around the sensor and shutter lense....place it in a vacume bag and seal the whole thing. After the glue sets, carefully cut out the plastic covering the two lenses and tie strap it to a piece of iron and sink it.

If someone knows of a better way to seal the lenses--fire away. If the seal breaks I will know it because it will loose the vacume.

Cliff, wonder if the PIR can see under water?

you are braver than me with that setup but I wish I was out there to go with you on those escapade you and Milt do. With those pix's it's Almost the same as being there.....

but not quite

And this will stay underwater in the bathtub for up to a week?

May need to camo it to make it look like a jug of some scented exfoliant.
Or one of those buff puff thingys.

Remember we share pictures here.

wildebeast Did you test this setup? I'd have to test in my bathtub? Because a week of sleepless nights wondering if I got Pics wouldn't be worth it if the pir wont work under water. We might need to come up with some type of trigger that uses something other than heat.
