Fine is a bit low, but this guy is on a 9 year time out from hunting. From the Oregon State Police newsletter
A subject cited by Tpr. Ritter for three counts of Borrowing an Elk Tag and three additional counts of Exceeding Elk Bag Limit pled guilty in Grant County to the Borrowing, and the court dismissed the Exceeding charges. The court sentenced the subject to the following:
Hunting License Suspension: Nine Years (three years for each count)
Fines/Fees: $1,500 plus pay cut/wrap fees for three seized elk
Community Service: 120 Hours
Supervised Probation: Two Years
