I'd like to know if anyone on this forum is offering private land hunting for a small fee? or know of anyone that owns private land that will be willing to let me and maybe 1 or 2 of my friends in for a small fee or for no fee at all

we are very respectful and would leave everything as is.

please shoot me a PM if you know of anything.. or you are willing to.

thank you guys!

Try craigslist with that add. Or a good pair of boots and a CA public lands map.

Unless it's public land, expect to pay to play. Ranches with good pig populations tend to have outfitters and you will find land owners don't want people on their land in general. That said, it doesn't hurt to ask land owners for tresspass rights, just don't expect to much.

Ah the holy grail...
Seriously you might talk to Deedee at Bryson Hesperia Resort, she has unguided hunts on private ranches which are about $200. Also do a little back searching here on the hog forum for reviews or trip reports. There is a lot of info on public land hunting with links pinned by jesse for just this thing, thanks jesse.
I have tried the craigslist and easyad route myself over the years, with no luck.

You have a few options...."Pay to Play" (Guided Hunt), lots of outfitters to choose from. Really a GREAT way to get into hog hunting. Hunt Public Land, I wouldnt expect to much you never know if you will score a hog on public. My other advice is spend a day and go knock on doors. You might get 99 "No's" and "1" yes. You never know until you try. All I can say is don't be greedy. Offer the landowner something in return to help him out (Fence repair, Cutting Firewood, Etc). GoodLuck!

You might try talking to the resident game warden in your area. I know of a couple of folks who went to visit a landowner on the advise of a game warden, and the guy said okay. If anything like you want is available in your area, the local warden would probably know. He probably doesn't advertise this info, but if asked nicely...

It can be done you need to ask land owners in your area in person. You never know.... But like I said It is 100% possible to find that land owner willing to grant you access. If your in the military it helps. I would also save the "I have 2 buddys to " act. That might be TOO fwd.

All you gotta do is strike up a good conversation with them and ask. I've gotten permission on a number of awesome ranches, most of which I'm the only one who hunts them. The best is when you see the owner working on something out by the gate. Pull up, get out, and just start talking. Old timers and non-hunters are easier to get permission from too.
