I just want one good image of these birds... it was too dark, and they wouldn't come out of this thick mess of branches. They were in my backyard eating some berries.

Cedar waxwings...

Nice - I never see many of them around here - usually just once or twice a year - must be when they are passing thru.

DEERSLAM, you are right, they are beautiful little birds... probably the beautiful-est (lol) that we have around here. A little farther north into Canada, they have bohemian waxwings which are even more colorful than the cedars.

Another pic from Sundays flock... I really wish that the sun would have been out.
