Weather is lookin GOOD for my :hog chewing: hunt in the middle of next week in Healdsburg/Sonoma.

Weather forcast is
Tuesday: Partly Cloudy 63:high 43:low
Wednesday: Partly Cloudy 63:high 45:low
Thursday: Showers 62:high 44:low
Other site
Tuesday: Partly Sunny 64:high 40:low
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, showers around 63:high 46:low
Thursday: Cooler with rain 55:high 34:low

Also LITTLE to NO MOON is totally in my favor. Hopefully it all works out.

yep Shamave23 the weather for next week is looking good for pig hunting in the sonoma region. hope the temps stay low too. thats the reason why i took that week of to hunt no moon! i will always try to avoid hunting pigs on full moon weeks, they have always seemed less productive, and when its really hot with a full moon they will be feeding all night and sleep all day unless they have to get some water. good luck next week on your hunt!....tra

One thing I noticed during my Cooley Ranch hunt is that there was tons of sign way up on the ridges...Hunt the ridges, look for areas with lots of oaks and shelter...good luck.

Just 3 more hours here at work and off at 1230. Go home make sure I do the double triple checks. Wheather is still lookin good.

Tues Nov 30th: Mostly Cloudy, High=59 Low=40
Wed Dec 1st: AM Showers, High=63 Low=43
Thurs Dec 2nd: Showers, High=63, Low=46

Im just hoping I dont freeze my tail off when Im sleepin in the back of my truck at night getting down into the low 30's. Lets just hope I have some luck and get on some pigs Tues.

sounds exciting Dave, i got the whole week off and i am going though my clothing & gear now, getting ready for l.s. and on the road wend. am.

good sleeping bag, warm clothes, and a couple more blankets over u should do the trick for sleeping in your suv.

Those showers on Thursday may prove helpfull. With the leaves and sticks on the ground being wet it should make your movements nearly silent.
