Weekday Guides?

I've noticed that most, if not all. of the pig guides I've read or head about guide on the weekends mostly. Has anyone here found a guide that will take you out on, say, a Wednesday or Thursday? Being a poor public servent I tend to work most weekends so that limits when I can go.

The guy I just went with last month, he'll guide (actually semi guided) during the week. His name is Ken Whitaker, #530-474-4959. I don't know where your located, so i'm not sure how far of a drive it will be for you. He hunts out of Healdsburg, which is about 30 miles or so north of Santa Rosa. The hogs in my Avatar were taken there.

ive hunted with mike baumgartner with devils canyon guide service out of pacines (near king city) 3 times during week days had a great time each time.

Bill Taylor's Taxidermy out of Hunington Beach (714) 843-9877 offers hunts during the week. Ask for Bill. He has some land North of Tejon Ranch with Russian Boars averaging nice size and he raves of the quality of the eating on his pigs. He says they smell like mollases. He also gets some rogue pigs from adjacent land that get in there every now and again. His prices are very descent.

Most of the guides I have been with hunt during the week if you give them enough notice. Mustang Guide Service out of King City is one. Franks a REAL good guy and his crew works real hard. I'm leaving this thursday for a hunt with Tom Willoughby out of King City. Were doing a Friday-Saturday hunt. I know he hunts during the week as well. Eldon Bergmon and Nessian Schmidt also hunt on weekdays. Hope this helps.

Most guides that I know of in Monterey Cty will work on any given day.
