Thanks, I got 900 feet of rope and a winch. I'm praying for road kill....:bag-on-head:
Dan,
I did shoot a pig next to the road in 2007 PRO and end up going back to camp for help on retriving my pig.
lucky Philip is in camp to help.

Shot placement is the key or shoot and shoot until its down!

Don't lift a 150 lbs. pig into your truck by yourself unless you want to visit the chiro.

And yes with copper it's head or neck shots.....unless you want to loose a pig or get lucky like Hatchet1 and track your pig over 200yards.

I WILL ALWAYS TAKE THE HEAD SHOT WITH THE COPPER... O.K..IM DONE WITH COPPER BASHING..FOR NOW......strait from Hatchet's mouth.

Hey map,

Got a quality topo of Tejon for the magellan? Sorry about the jeep:bag-on-head:

Sorry, but that place is a private ranch, so I wouldn't feel comfortable mapping it. I was really stretching it when I did FHL, but I only scanned and geo referenced their handout maps. Then used the geo referenced handout maps to make the Google Earth boundary outlines.

I would suggest using Google Earth, and make screen saves of the interesting areas. Wal*Mart has a photo machine that will make a nice clear picture of the screen saves. Forgot to add that I save the Google Earth Screen Saves onto my camera card, and then insert the card into the machine at Wal*Mart.

Good luck;

Richard

Rope is definitely your friend at Tejon... as is a packframe, a game bag, and a couple of sharp knives. I carry about 1000 feet, but the last few pigs I killed there weren't anywhere near the road. Cut 'em up and put the meat in a sack on your back.

Hey XD, I remember that danged hog. Never seen anything like it... a couple hundred yards, split wide open and leaving a trail of guts behind. And you weren't even using copper ammo!

Hunter Liggett has 13 Areas open this holiday weekend, but they are all equally good choices. Not much sense in getting there early tomorrow to register.
