Do you tie a rope on your animal like hang it from a tree while you go fetch the cart? In order to prevent coyotes or cats from taking it?
I on the other hand always bring a rope, and gut it right away so it will cool completely, and count on the gut pile to satisfy the 'yotes and 'coons.
If a cat wants it, you can't hang it high enough.
We should get a huge group together and organize a drive.
You get more deer and pigs that way.
Hm, I thought you suggested everyone to stay away from me.
I remember you explain to everyone how bad i'm and why no one wants to hunt with me and i have to hunt alone.
Or it was not you? Changed your mind buddy?
Yep, he said to everyone not to take me hunting even if i beg. Now he wants to get together.I thought he said he would only take you hunting, when you beg him to :rotflmao:.
Actually ... I do not.
Wishful thinking, on your part.
1. From HKS95134 :Next time call me and I'll watch your back for you.
2. From HKS95134 We should get a huge group together and organize a drive.
Did you notice how one $#%^@ could ruin perfectly good thread. And it is not first time he does it with his "smart" notes.
Instead of exchanging good advise and thoughts we need to read this crap.
Grow up HKS!!!!! or get help. Please do not post on my threads and i'll not post on yours. Play with your wide field of view 10X50 binoculars, your .45 gun, or whatever, just leave me alone.
Nothing will happen if you do not gut immediately, especially if it is not a gut shot. In this weather i'd not hesitate to leave a pig for 4 hour not gutted or even more. This one took me more than 3 hours before i starter skinning.Nice pig and great job. I rarely see others with carts but I have used a 1 wheel cart for 20 years. It has saved me a long packing job lots of times. Interesting about field dressing your game. I have always gutted my animals as soon as I could but when you think about those that took a few hours to track down they were not gutted immediately and I still ate them. I have had a few deer that were dead for a few hours before I could find them and never had a problem. Never had to track a pig for very long so that has not happened yet. On all the hunting shows they leave their animals for hours while they go get help and I assume they still eat them.
