I'm no pig expert but that was my first thought as well.
Just a skinny Eurasian hog. Cource add that in with the dud theory and u got somethin

We once had a sow that we named skinny on our ranch where we imported european pigs and she had the same look to her for almost a year. She came to the ranch looking good but a short time later she ended up looking like that pig. We figured out she had shipping shock coming all the way from Canada and maybe ate some foxtails that she could not get rid of. She was a good stepmother to another sow and helped raise the one piglet that the other sow had and filled out and was the same weight as the other pigs from there on.
