Was real poor hunting this weekend at FHL.....hunted area's 2,19 and 29.....seen some sign in 29 but not too promising.....alot of quail in 2 and alot of bird hunters.....as of sunday all I seen was 1 hog taken out of 30.....and a few small cow's out of 16......anyone have any luck?

BirdDawg,I too was at FHL on Saturday. I heard there were alot of people in Area 2. I might of saw you at the checkout windom. I was with my dad(wearing a USA fleece) and I was wearing a Mossy Oak cammo shirt with jeans. I was in Area 7 and saw some real good pig sign. What do u mean by cows dont u mean sows ?
Loye....I was talking about some cow elk that were brought in......at first look I thought they were some nice sized hogs till I got a closer look......but the elk hunting was just as bad as the hogs.....seems those elk didn't want to co-operate either......even cindy has been having trouble filling her tag.....and get this.....she got her tag cause the person who drew it got sick and the first alternate didn't want the tag (she was the second alternate)....if I drew an elk tag I'd have to be on my death bed to miss out on the hunt....and to turn down a tag is unheard of.....strange coincident....enough on elk seings where this is a hog forum......I probably seen you since I spent most of my time in line changing area's....I should have stuck with 29.....but with duck season opening and all the geese there I figured it would be a war zone....LOL....I forgot it was quail season.....anyways maybe after a good rain it might be worth going back.....good luck and Happy Hunting.
