Have a place with a rafter of 30 plus Turkey, I want to be as gentle and quite as I can bringing a couple home with me.
I do not want to disturb them to much and have them flee the area.
So Two Ideas a 22 or my Bow, so I guess the question is it legal to take turkey with a 22?
Or what head should I use with a bow ?

If you're headed where I think you are, you better be careful.
That neighborhood is a hippie community and they'll have LEO up there in no time.

Do you shoot for the neck with a bow ?
One would think a body shot would lay waste to much of the meat?

Shoot for the middle of the body. Neck shot would work, if you can hit it!

You need to come back so we can practice. Remember the tennis balls at 40yds. I know it’s been a while. Practice practice practice. Then we can hit bottle caps at 40

The base of the wing. If he's facing away from you go for the pooper. I worry first about putting it down, then worry about ruined meat.

Vitals with an air gun? I would stick with a head or neck shot.

Did they change the caliber size? When i looked into using an airgun 15 years ago I remember regs saying .22 or bigger. Airguns have came a long way since then.

Gotta do head/neck shots if using AirRifle. With all those big feathers to bust thru, a high likelihood of a body shot not doing the job. Any vids I've ever seen, the AirGunners and the Bow Hunters are trying to shoot the head off.
