Sound worked great for me.....though i wasn't to impressed with the hunters.
Shooting sticks should have been used......and it looked like the lion was facing the man when he shot giving him a poor angle.....

I have tried to access this video off and on for 6 months. Am not a computer wiz but do have a DSL, video cards, and more than one video program. Any ideas? Error message always pops up that says server is busy and cannot connect.

Try going to msn.com- scroll down towards teh bottom and click on "Windows Updates".

ALWAYS do this at least once a week- there are many Critical flaw's with Win XP for security-Then your computer should be able to download and install all the necessary files needed.

I downloaded this some time ago and it plays perfectly in Windows media player. So download that for free from MSN if you don't have it. Also if you have no sound try this, click on control panel, select sounds and audio devices, you should now have the volume settings displayed make sure no one has ticked the "mute" box as this will disable all sounds , untick it and press ok and exit control panel.
Amazing piece of footage and that Lion took at least 3 hits!

I watched this video and was amazed at the mistakes they seem to make. I am not an experienced lion hunter but think that they should have continued to fire after the first shot.

Any info on how badly the hunter was hurt?

IMHO did not see anything wrong with the first shot, looks like the group did not have a fallow up shot that's why they where running to get the angle, man with the camera did a great job.

I'll tell you that lion could pickem up and layem down even with a round or two in him

The one guy was lucky he was a tall drink of water as the lion went by, i'll bet some undies had to be washed in camp that night.

Looks like the PH fired at about 3ft and just over the lions head, look at the shooters scope way to big IMO for that kind of game he never stood a chance getting that lion in it after he started moving at them.

Watch the guy and the woman there heading for the hills and the third guy after firing a shot trips over the bush and is on the ground i'll bet he is thinking i'm dead.

LOOKS LIKE A TEXAS HEART SHOT DID THE TRICK, it's a wonder there was any ammo left in any guns at that point.
