Took a peek at the stocking report for this week and DFG is stocking Big Rock Creek and Pyramid Lake. Too bad we can't go enjoy it. Wonder if the USFS will give them a ticket for being in there.

Even better is that the DF&G is going to go out to Big Rock Creek in a few months and poison all the fish to do a study on whether or not the planted fish are having an impact on the yellow legged frog (different from our friend the Arroyo Toad). Check out the DF&G web site... that's what they're doing with their Federal grants this year.

It's Littlerock Creek they're going to kill off. Big Rock Creek is a bit farther east.
